Our Vision to provide a beautiful sanctuary for families and children in the Hope Park Community. We seek to bless the children and to share God's Love for them and his plans for them to have a more abundant life
We believe: That God is the creator of all things! He is sovereign, almighty and eternal.
The vision of Hope Park represents a shared belief held by many that we can and should do more to help build strong families and children in our community. The area bordered by Ridge, Wilderness and Bear Creek Roads were hit especially hard in 2018 by the dual disasters of the Eastpoint Fire and Hurricane Michael. While government must help rebuild, friends of Eastpoint recognize that there is a role we can all play in rebuilding the community.

The Vision of Hope Park
The vision of Hope Park represents a shared belief held by many that we can and should do more to help build strong families and children in our community. The area bordered by Ridge, Wilderness and Bear Creek Roads were hit especially hard in 2018 by the dual disasters of the Eastpoint Fire and Hurricane Michael. While government must help rebuild, friends of Eastpoint recognize that there is a role we can all play in rebuilding the community.
In December 2018, Joyce Estes, a long-time resident of Eastpoint, first put forth the idea of Hope Park while sharing her belief that more could be done to help the people and families there. As she envisioned, the Church could work together to purchase land in the area that could serve as a refuge for children to play, a community center for families, and a place to house a Sheriff’s Sub-station.
The vision of Hope Park has since flourished as so many people have stepped up to offer their time and resources. The project has been divided into two phases. Phase 1 is the purchase, teardown and removal of debris on the property located at 159 Bear Greek Road. Phase 2 envisions adding several amenities to the property including a classroom, basketball court, pavilion, landscaping and replacing the existing fence. When completed in 2020, Hope Park is destined to become a model for private and government cooperation in addressing a community’s need.
In recent weeks, God has worked miracles sending many men and women to rally behind this cause. They see the unlimited opportunities of Hope Park to potentially address many of the social needs of the community such as youth programs like scouting, church services/activities, AA/substance abuse programs, and most importantly, a community gathering place for families and children.
